Postnatal Depression (PND)

Postnatal Depression (PND) occurs in new parents, most commonly mothers, in the weeks or months following childbirth. It is marked by feelings of sadness, fatigue, anxiety, and difficulty bonding with the baby. PND is often treated with therapy, such as CBT, and in some cases, medication to help manage depressive symptoms and support the parent-child relationship.
