Light Therapy (Phototherapy)

Light Therapy, or phototherapy, is a treatment for Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and other forms of depression that involves exposure to bright artificial light to mimic sunlight. The light helps regulate mood and alleviate symptoms associated with seasonal changes in daylight. This treatment is often used in conjunction with therapy and medication to improve mood during the winter months or periods of low sunlight.
