Depressive Personality Disorder

Depressive Personality Disorder is a condition in which individuals exhibit a chronic pattern of pessimism, low self-esteem, and a negative outlook on life. People with this disorder often feel unworthy, inadequate, and are prone to feelings of guilt and sadness. While not officially classified in the DSM, it shares similarities with Persistent Depressive Disorder. Treatment typically includes therapy, particularly CBT, to challenge negative thinking patterns and improve mood.
