Dr. Heather Pratt

PsyD Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Heather Pratt is a clinical psychologist who has been practicing in Orange County for the past 14 years. She got her start working with the elderly community in a hospital psychiatric setting. She then moved on to private practice working with high risk teens and adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and addiction. Following private practice, she became the clinical director at a chemical dependency inpatient hospital for women. There she worked with other clinicians, patients and their families to help them understand and heal from the devastating effects of addiction on both the individual and the family as a whole.

Dr. Pratt incorporates many different modalities into her treatment approach. She finds a combination of psychodynamic, family systems, cognitive behavoiral and motovational interviewing work to address the needs of her clients depending on their situation and dignosis.

In her free time, she is focused on her husband and two daughters who are now young adults and her extended family who also reside in the Orange County area.

She is passionate about mental health and wellness. She feels so blessed to work in a field where she gets to witness the transformative power of therapy on a regular basis.
