Catatonic Depression

Catatonic Depression is a severe form of depression where individuals may experience motor disturbances, such as immobility, excessive movement, or unusual postures. Individuals may also become unresponsive to their surroundings. This form of depression requires immediate treatment, often involving a combination of antidepressants, antipsychotic medications, and sometimes electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
