Dysthymia

Dysthymia, also known as Persistent Depressive Disorder, is a chronic form of depression that lasts for at least two years. While the symptoms are less severe than Major Depressive Disorder, individuals with Dysthymia experience long-term low mood, fatigue, and difficulty enjoying life. Treatment often involves a combination of antidepressants and psychotherapy, such as CBT, to manage symptoms and improve overall quality of life.
