Serotonin Syndrome

Serotonin Syndrome is a rare but serious condition that occurs when there is an excess of serotonin in the brain, usually due to taking too much serotonin-increasing medication, such as antidepressants. Symptoms include confusion, agitation, rapid heart rate, and tremors. It requires immediate medical attention, and treatment involves discontinuing the medications that caused the syndrome.
