Situational Depression

Situational depression, also known as Adjustment Disorder with Depressed Mood, occurs in response to a specific life event or situation, such as the loss of a loved one, job, or major life change. Symptoms are similar to other forms of depression but are often temporary and resolve once the individual adapts to the change. Therapy, particularly CBT, is commonly used to help individuals process emotions and develop coping strategies.
